Early Days
I have been drawing, painting and creating since I could hold a pencil. I spent my entire childhood with a scribbling away daily.
My education took me to University to study General Illustration.
Creative Block
Thereafter, I hit creative block and ended up working a few non-creative jobs. After working on a christian community in Devon I got married and had 2 children. During the Covid-19 pandemic, I spent my lockdown watching Sky Arts ‘Artist of the Year’ on catch up TV. Inspired, I started painting again, just two hours a night once my 3 year old and 8 month old were in bed. I have painted occasionally over the years following.
Creative Revival
In spring 2024 I had hit ‘burnout’, after overexerting myself mentally and progressively exhausting myself with sleep deprivation. I found myself leaning into my christian faith in God during my darkest moments and yet having my most prolific and productive creative period since university. Painting after painting has emerged from me. In just a few months I had produced over 150 (A4/A5) paintings in just a few months.
My Passions
My passion is to build a meaningful and distinctively unique future for others through passion-fuelled art. It is important to me that others are allowed to build the life and mental well-being that will inform and free, and stand the test of time. It is my desire that every piece of art is viewed with value and every artist has a voice in an ever-changing global community. Where a person can so easily become a drop in the ocean, I hope to instil a sense of purpose and meaning beyond income. Van Gogh was never appreciated in his time, this has always seemed like a desperately sad life; I hope my life’s work, and that of others, is never viewed as worthless in this way. I hope to motivate others to encourage and value art and every artist.

Ever learning and changing, my desire is to meet and work with as many people as I can. I hope that my time on earth will allow me to connect and enable as many people as possible to understand their power and worth through their passions and creative outlets. I hope that I can connect with others to allow them the freedom to open their hearts and express their experience, whilst in turn advocate within their own communities and through their personal artistic endeavours. My approach is that everyone and anyone has the potential to be my friend. If you are interested in a genuine adventure I have an openness to collaboration and consultation.
